Siege event tomorrow, Tues Nov 15, 3pm Eastern  I wonder what is in the cards...

I think I'm going to go to the beach and sit in the sun.  Had enough of these events for now.  I like EM Bennu, but don't care for the riff raff.

I'll be there but I will not be there for the event itself, rather I be looking to be a thorn in bandit five side.

The cards look like they are upside down to me.

EM Bennu posted again:

Just wanted to say thank you for all the positive feedback on the event yesterday on Siege. It ran a bit longer than I imagined, but was good fun. I was glad to 'do something right', Siege is such a unique challenge for me.

For everyone I owe emails and message returns, I haven't forgotten about you. I have gotten more requests and messages in the past 2 weeks than I have gotten in the previous 2 years.

Perfect storm I guess. Ill get to your message/email soon, I promise.

If you´re posting feedback and suggestions on his FB page perhaps you could post this to him?

Regarding this latest event.
It was good that he took off the "leash" on the monsters but it was a bad move to only release them one at a time as that gave the PK guild 100% control over the event.

Perhaps something he can consider in the future.

CharGar

Yep, I will send him this message.

And can he please do an event that does not involve just killing mobs so that non-PvPers can participate.

I was thinking about that the other day also,  Something for crafters or thieves.    Like hunting down things scattered around the world to steal.

He's limited since he's only signed up to do one event a month. A reward has to be dropped at least once a month. So that one event a month basically has to be a "steal" the reward off the ground event or a hack-and-slash event.

Well so far they have all been the latter. I am asking for some of the former as well.

It means more work for our besieged EM, but an event that required us to split into teams - say, one that needed a certain number of people in each area, alive, in order to succeed, might overcome a lot of the perceived problems. I don't know if the toolset available to the EM allows this, but it's an idea...

It boils down to what people consider important - killing other players, or getting something out of the event (other than killing other players!)
Given the tactics that went into getting most of the drops at the last event, I'd say it's fairly obvious where priorities lie.
No drop unless your whole team makes it back alive, team size must be at least 5, drop goes to the bank.

Or is that TOO much of a carebear, Trammie, approach?
