Hello all!  I've been asleep for over 10 years but have returned to see how life is in the old worlds.  I'm Daoen and was once a dedicated member of the guild until I was pulled away and am looking to return.  I'm off in other lands getting the hang of the world until I totally return to Siege but will be back once in a while until my full return.  I'm hoping to get back involved with the guild, again, if you all are still active and once I'm up to speed.  I look forward to meeting you all and seeing Hoffs again if she's around!  Peace!

Wow!  I'm happy to see the activity.  I wasn't even sure that the guild would even be here after so long but not only is it here but it's relatively active as well.  I'm impressed!  

I'm back and forth between Atlantic where I'm playing with some of the new skills and systems like Mastery.  I feel the need to get the hang of the system and stuff before I try to brave Siege again.  I'm not sure what it's like now but back in the day it was difficult to get the lay of the land, train and prosper without some skills (familiarity) with fighting and/or running and hiding.  

I have a couple of questions:  Is Shadowclan still active on Siege?  And, is the guild NEW still active?

Wondered whatever happened to you. A few of us still around from the start of GIL. Shadowclan and NEW are both gone. The population is probably 1/4 of what it used to be back then, so you can train up here without much problem.

You need to jump in with both feet and not worry about the other shards.  We are the best and can help answer any questions you may have about what ever.  Just ask Razz, hes full of questions.   

Hoffs will be back around the 2nd or so of Oct.  You might want to read the posts of the travels  over here in the colonies.  Praise/Rants.   You might find them very interesting.

Daoen I did and thought the same thing when I came back. I went to Catskills and played for about 3-4 hours. I quickly found that wasn't the case at all. GIL being the difference. There is usually someone in the alliance on at all times to team up with and help when needed. I would go ahead and give Siege a try. If nothing else get your guy setup.

I have tried to come back a few times and got discouraged because most of my skillset with this game had atrophied. Heck just getting the game up and running again with Cartographer was a pain. Be patient and push through it. You will find the game is better then ever.
