The next Town Patrol will take place on Sunday March 13th at its regular time of 2:30-4:30pm EST. However...

What was, in my opinion, the finest event yet in terms of overall balance and continuous action, was ruined by the arrival of two part-time Siege players. As they have given no undertaking that they will observe the no looting rule, and as the rest of the shard will not present a completely united front against them and they remain guildmates of other players at the event (which causes major confusion in any attempt to fight back), Gilfane will end the patrol if and when they turn up and would advise everyone else to do the same.

This event is probably the best community thing we have on the shard right now and has attracted a lot of interest and even new/returning people. But the event simply cannot exist if looting is allowed. If people want to loot outside of this set event, so be it, that is entirely up to them and has always been a part of Siege. But to do so at a scheduled event which has no reward other than the enjoyment of taking part in the event itself, is just pure griefing. Year after year Siege manages to shoot itself in the foot. I do hope we can prevent it happening this time.

It is a hard choice to make. I know Dark Star and Feanaro will understand if TDO stay and fight. Now I don't know what Bo's alliance will do. If they stay, I believe we will too.
One thing is sure, the moment they are in town, we will stop fighting GIL alliance and focus on them.
Yes we may lose a suit or more, I will just leave my better stuff home.

I really do not feel for leaving town, I rather die and get looted.

Ok here is where TDO stand this sunday.
As I'm sure we will see B^A in town including 2 or more jokers, we will not be fighting GIL this Sunday. Target will be B^A. We will try to loot to stop them rejoin fights. Some loot may be returned after the event.
I have alot friends in B^A, I know most will understand why we have to do this.

As I told Igg when he made the choices he did:
That's your choice but as you said "If you choose to hold B^A as a whole responsible, so be it.", that may happen but that's how it works

After further consideration, I am afraid that Gilfane will not be fighting them if they do show up. Aside from the fact that we have no idea who else may be on their side, people just don't WANT to fight people who now undeniably run every hack and script in the book. We know from previous encounters with them how difficult they are to kill. Even if you dismount them they manage to teleport away at fantastic speed.
