Event: RP Themed VvV PVP Event - The Pride of Vice
Date: Sunday, May 24th 3:30pm-5:00pm EST

Go forth my purveyors of darkness, my minions of Vice.  Kill, Murder and Destroy.  Take what you want and take no prisoners.  Show me who amongst you stands as the Pride of Vice.  Who is the most fierce, the most cunning and the most deadly!  There are no prizes for second place and you must stand alone atop the lists to claim my Pride!

  As a reward, I will present to the Army and the Individual fighting for Vice that distinguishes themselves in battle during the Sieges of Britannia.  The one who claims the most kills and the guild that claims the most towns shall earn the title of my Pride and be awarded a banner so none may dispute the claim.

  If you fail, and Virtue defends the towns and your death toll is below that of the highest ranking Virtue Knight,  then I give you nothing, as you are unworthy!  Walk in Humiliation of your failure and know you are unworthy to be my Pride!

[Out of Character] Open RP VvV themed event. Come have fun, bring what you can lose. This week the player with most kills and guild that claims most towns will be awarded a banner as a reward: Pride if Vice, Humility if Virtue.  The kills and town must be documented during the time of event for the prizes to be claimed.

Usually I do not respond to posts like this, because your actions speak louder than your words, BUT the problem here is: You do not get it!

Just as the bank-robber-escape-car-driver who was just driving the car and " had nothing to do with the murder of the 7 people that were shot during the robbery".

Yes he did that in the past, but that is years ago, I don't believe he do it now. I had fighted him alot, not seen anything like that.
Because someone deen something stupid, when they was in the teens, it do have to mean they can't changes.

I can see the changes, I can see he is much more mature now and I'm not going to turn against him, because you tell me so. I may try to make him not loot if I'm part of a fight he join as I do not loot. Else I may leave the fight.

Open your damn eyes Freja for goodness sake. Someone from you alliance asked me the other day why I don't use Stratics anymore. One of the reasons is that I am fed up of reading crap like this from people who either have self-serving interests or don't have the brains to put together a one-piece jigsaw puzzle. Diablo is a cancer who has no place in any civilized society. He cares for nobody but himself  and has consistently shown no regard for any decent standards of conducts. He only does the "right" thing when it suits him to do so. If this was taking place in the real world then he would have been taken out of society either by being jailed or, better still, execution.

The event last week was an eye-opener for me. For the first 20-30 minutes it was chaos with everyone running around all over the place. People were dying left, right and center and it was pretty much every man for himself. It very much reminded me of one of those big WWII fighter engagements. But nobody was looting. If you went down then you just got a res, grabbed your stuff, and got back into the action. In short, as they say, it was a blast and everyone loved it. But then your friend Diablo shows up and, quelle surprise, people are being looted. FYOU, as is there normal way of things, is assisting him. And before long the good feeling has gone and the event has ended prematurely.

We almost didn't go ahead with the event this week as we knew Diablo would be doing the same thing again. But we determined that we would give it a go provided that people were going to cooperate against him if he showed up. Well he did show up and was looting right from the off. He is very difficult to kill, as we all know, and we needed everyone together to combat him and his entourage. But that didn't happen. As far as I am concerned the event is dead now. WE (and specifically Lore) tried to do something for the community and it hasn't worked because of the actions of the usual suspects. So don't blame US for what happened.

Until everyone wakes up and gives Diablo the cold shoulder, refuses to have any dealings with him, declines to trade with him or assist him in any way, chooses not to empower him, he will always be a curse on the shard when he is here. He has been given chance after chance but still will not change his ways. And yet still there are the apologists who think that somehow they can change him, or that he even DESERVES to be saved.

And meanwhile, the good ship SS Siege continues to sink into the icey waters...

Excuse me? Is this the same person that is organizing a June event that asks people not to loot as they normally would in order to bring back the fun on Siege? Yet it is somehow wrong that we ask for the same at events that WE organize?

We do not "rule the shard". We don't generally interfere in other people's stuff. If you are not an enemy (basically a PK or someone that assists PKs) you are not going to be attacked by us at IDOCs, spawns, etc. But when we try and organize something, and hardly any other bloody person does these days (you being one of the exceptions), then I don't think it unreasonable to set the rules we want people to follow in order to continue to run it. It seems that most people were happy to do that, and attendance was not mandatory by the way. But some are not and therefore the event is at an end.

I'm still trying to do the June event, I know this do not help.
The June event is not a no loot event but a event trying to not make people loose their suit, as they should lose item in yellow bag.
Not sure if I misunderstood Lore's event for yesterday, as I read it, it was meant to be an event, where players would grap some mid level gear and expect to lose it. I had made several old suit ready with jewelry and expected to lose them. I found out, GIL changed the rules to no looting, no idea why. I was not going to loot, unless some had some of my items.

I was happy for this alternative event, as it would be more like PvP normalt is and give some fun to the ones who find no loot events a little to safe.

I still don't know what I did wrong, I never agreed to kill Diablo first, I said, I would not fight side by GIL so they could loot him and not fight side by Diablo so he could loot GIL.
I did believe, that at this event, lost items did not mean alot and thought all had made some suit bags. I was fighting on the Vice side as him.

I was not mad at the looting but at being told, I would get looted if I did not do as told. I was ok with being looted at the event.

It's nothing new, that I do help Diablo with trading and crafting.

Now the question is, can we solve this or should I expect GIL to leave when I show up or kill and loot me?

Freja - Diablo is a manipulator and a sociopath. He is manipulating you by convincing you that he has changed, but the truth is he has not. He is still pulling the same old scamming stunts and cheating the game as always. This time, you are the victim and you don't even know it.

To me this is new, and had I known it, I would have given you one warning to stop dealing with the cheater/scammer/hacker/scripter and when you obviously would have declined this, I would have started treating you exactly the same way as I treat those kind of ppl.

So to answer your question in regards to me: I will kill and loot you since you help a cheater destroying our game!

It still amazes me how a player can afk script, use cheat programs, scam, act like an ass in GC, loot a guildmate's castle, dupe and destroy as much as possible and still get support from the community. *shakes head*

And us bickering like this is just what he wants...
