Graphic evidence of Arrr employing cheats

The following videos came from a recent attempt by the TB faction to try and take control of some faction sigils. After holding them for a while, Soulweaver [Prodigy, Green Thumb, Black Ninja] showed up multi-boxing on seven characters. Yes, seven. For those unfamiliar with this term, "multi-boxing", as described by Mesanna, is simultaneously commanding multiple clients to do the same action. So instead of being attacked by one archer, or one mage, you are suddenly faced with, in this case, seven incoming attacks. Needless to say, this is generally pretty lethal, which is why it was explicitly banned by Mesanna a couple of years back. Just to be clear, multi-clienting is not illegal. This "multi-boxing" is.

That Soulweaver was going to use these tactics was discovered some weeks back, and a post was made on Stratics to point out the illegality. The fact that he blatantly continues to use this cheat, with the obvious support of his guild and faction leader, Parium (aka Captain Redbeard), speaks volumes about both of them. Don't people want a fair fight? Don't faction people want to encourage more PvP? Well this "win at all costs" mentality is not going to help and is quite beyond my understanding. It's just a reminder of why I rarely get involved with PvP myself. I trust you will keep all this in mind when you next hear Parium talk about his "honour".

It looks like ARR, teaming up on stealthers, following a leader while they call a 3 2 1 Drop, and attack the same target. But cool video editing nice work.

You really have to try harder than that.   :P

Try harder then what, Ventrillo + Cartography + 3 2 1 + Click Target = Dead Target. Don't forget  Alt, Left Click on whoever your following it makes it so your group will all stay on top of each other.

It's quite common in most MMO's and first person shooters.

Maybe that's why Gil doesn't do so well in the PvP Community.

Auto follow follows not mimics there is a difference but it not like we expect you to actually admit what ya doing

I am explaining it, most of you use cheat engine to exploit your speed and I use my guild ARR with military experience and tactical decisions over ventrillo to snipe the enemy.

Manwinc

Bah, was all excited thinking their would be some action in the video. Just some dude dead on 3 clients in slo mo. //:(

So next time you´re on camera SW, how about you tell your "buddies" to just randomly dance around for a minute?
But then again, that would mean you´d have to give out your account infos to six people you trust just to "prove us wrong"...

sprago

to my knowledge nobody in GIL uses speed hacks if anyone needs to be looked at for that it would be ARR the way they are always out running us its ridiculous slow it down play the same way the rest of us do, there is no need for that kinda crap if ya gotta cheat to play a game why play?  what kinda enjoyment does a person get from cheating?  i just dont understand it but i guess i dont need to understand people like that it wouldnt get me anywhere

Why would I have to give it to them? They already have their own black ninja's built. Silly posts but let me know when the camera is on I am sure the guys would love to do a little strip dance for you darling.

ARR's out running you guys. That's funny all day I hear them complaining about not being able to catch you guys but we all know cheat engine isn't going away at least not in this game being the code is so old they have no real way to prevent it. So ask your own people what enjoyment they get out of using a third party program. Maybe you'll find the answers and start going places instead on no where :(

I hear you, Sprago.
The only thing it leads to is them having no one to fight with eventually.

Arr's responses are 100% predictable. What they are doing, reminds me of the old "smoke and mirrors" trick that con artists employ. They try and deflect good people's attention away from the truth.

Bo has repeatedly accused me of speed hacking when he can't catch me. I run the EC client with default UI.

Yeah, the excuses were pretty predictable. It´s almost as if they believe it themselves.
But the videos shows what happened and anyone with any common sense will know what´s going on in them.
