I have read and posted my question which I dearly hope doesn't get lost in the rants. I know a lot of us have prepatch faction dyed gear and I'm very worried about these items getting "removed". Some of these items have makers marks by players that I considered friends and have long since moved on. I've had these "rares" for countless years and would be saddened if they were "removed". Also in my post is my concern for current faction dyed gear like conjurors grabs, Sammy helms, crystalline rings etc. stuff that is considered "high end" gear will now be "removed"? I hope some of you feel as I do...

I agree with you, Sir Morder, that it would be a shame to lose all the old faction dyed items.  I also will miss my war horse.
