it all started 2 days ago . when i took Borg to do my daily escort .
i gated in to cove around 10 30 am , found one of the many npcs there and was about to take him to trinsic . out of the corner of my eye i see something with a red name . im thinkin pk , but its in town , no prob (dude on a horse) . watch him . he stands there for about 5 secconds then highlights and runs tword me . i holler GUARDS .. nothing . a seccond GUARDS . and hes on me messin my day up .
damn.

open paperdoll . hes got a black shield and sword , cloak of corruption it looks like ... hmm is this the thing i must kill for the new super mare ? *strokes chin*

guards appear to be useless . im in a cheap low resist lrc suit .... i got a mare . but a good one =)

bandages ? check .

dismount ,all kill , target controller ... vet like mad !


i had him goin good for a couple min then he poofed . omg ! red shit everywhere . everything from zombies to dragons . about 10 to 20 of em . all red  and me and my poor mare are the only targets for screens . i was instantly dirtnapped . no joke it got ugly fast.

by the time i resed and got back to my corpse i had been rummaged of everything but my ring and gorget .... wow . ok

i got on vent reported ... lyndsey of H+H responded and came to assist . after refitting we lead a couple controllers out of town and between 2 superdragons we killed one . the dread warhorse appeared and we attempted to tame . no folower slots . ok gate to stable drop off dragon , jump back thru old gate . very quickly ... the dread is gone . we searched all over . its gone .

we set up with lindsey on a mare (2 follower) and both vetted my dragon killing the seccond controller . the dread pops and he instantly beginns taming . poof ! like a dispell puff of white and its gone too .



we could not get any more to spawn the first day so we called it a day and vowed to try again in the morning .

seccond day :

we hit cove around 10 am and yes its spawned again . this time we get more backup from the alliance folks and weve figured out that you have to bola them . we have also figured out when they poof you holler all follow me and sprint a few screens away . your dragon follows you and because the controller is on the dragon it comes too . if you do it the moment he poofs the other reds havent locked on yet , they stand there.
lead him away from the protecting horde .

a couple times during taming weve lost the dread to a guardwhack . dont know why exactly .

but we tamed some . Pantero also found that using monster ignore workes really well there and he was able to tame quite a few . so far i tamed 2 lyndsey tamed one and then we just kinda let panterro do it cause he had ignore .. he got like 5 of em gave a few to alliance members who helped .

i do not believe anyone else has a dread warhorse yet . we pretymuch owned cove all day . they would try to raid us but being in town the guards do still work . just not on the monsters . and with so many alliance members they couldnt take us with the few blues they had. krystal came in on her blue alt and tried to tame some but lyndsey kept discording her dragon and she'd die . lol

i read the stonehaven boards too where tnt freequent , and krystal was on there complaining about us and "all she got was 10 all kills " hehe

so ... annother day .
how long do you think we can own cove ?

I believe I got ganked by a Dread War Horse earlier today....lol  in Cove.   They look awesome.   Their faction only aren't they?

They are not faction only. You must have taming to control them. The required skills appear to be the same as for a nightmare.
