greetings friends .
today i am looking for threads, as in : thread of life , thread of fate, and thread of thought. these were part of an event quite some time ago and to be honest i haven't seen any threads anywhere for a long time .

however i saved my leftovers just because i've always been a packrat. i'm now gathering these in attempt to make a display for a museum i'm setting up. if anyone else happened to pack some away i'd pay well for any you are willing to part with .

i also have a few shroud of the condemned which the threads used to convert , so if we can come up with 10 of any threads we may still be able to convert a cloak. (i haven't had 10 threads to try in a long time so i dont even know if you still can ... but logically i dont see why not)

at this point i have 6 cloaks of life , 2 cloaks of death and 10 shrouds left to convert. i have no cloaks of thought so that is also a concern . id like to display a full set so i need one of those as well.

ok i found out i was somewhat wrong . there is no cloak of thought . its called cloak of power. (made from 10 strings of thought)
the good news is i've heard of a cloak of power ... i still dont have one , but at least now i know the right name to look for . sorry for the confusion.

the cor. cloaks were the common element . seems they made an abundance of cloaks and not so many threads. to be honest i have more than 10 . not sure how many exactly but i remember getting so many of those it seemed way out of balance . i remember at the time, thinking the life cloaks were nice so i spent my time farming those . in the end i found even those had limited usefulness .its an elven robe with 3 hit point increase and 1 hit point regen.

some guys like righty would spend the gold for the little boost they give in pvp ... certainly not worth the risk to the common man . i never used mine much so ... life . ive got.

without threads to convert them the only use for cor. cloaks is that it hurts you a little over time making them ideal to train healing. which ive already done so those are of little value to me anymore. i kept a few around to give to newbs who might want them for training. but i realy dont have a use for more of those. the thread however is a nice find just for its rareness , the most common of the 3 to me , but still you are the first to find even one . congrats .  most people ive asked havent even heard if them.

occasionally i still see some of those old cloaks floating around on vendors . usually 200 to 300k . i dont know what to offer on the thread . its one tenth of that ?
... so 30 k each for a life thread seem fair ?

the cloak of power gives 2 to each stat . nice to have on a robe i suppose. again i personally wouldnt wear , but ive seen people use them . so there must be one out there for my museum ... anyone ? id pay half a mill for a non evil/hero dyed cloak of power. id rather the display show the true color.

ahh tjalle i see you have some too .  ill pay better for thought and fate as i need those more. hows 50k each on the thoughts and 40 for fates ?

also guys im just guessing at the value on threads . if you think i am wrong im negotiable . just trying to figure a fair value . let me know what y'all want .thanks


ps:  i checked . the npc with the quest for cloak of power is still there . =)
