We at ONE strive to improve the group as a collective force and that extends to allies as well. if we help build up our lesser players we become stronger as a whole. my only hope is you stick around long enough to put it to good use and then help the next new guy down the line. see you at the next hunt.

Yep.  Big, ole, empty mean Siege is such a myth.  And it's so much better than the crowded, mean prodo shards.  I think you will have an absolute blast here.  And glad you were able to get into Vent.  That makes a huge difference on some of the hunts/activities.

  I've been on Seige for a lil bit now but what a change it was from prodo.  My home shard was Legends and I really enjoyed it a first.  But there was so much bitching and drama sometimes within our alliance, usually from the much younger players.  Anyhow I had tried Seige off and on when Legends was down and decided to get a char to GM here one weekend.  Ran into Bruin, the GM from CWS, and joined the same evening.  The rest is history.  I did my first 'Fel' spawn here as well.  Even our Ilshenar champs got raided there by blue guilds.  They'd wait until the chanp was ready to spawn and then basically grab everything they could.  Always hated that but there's nothing you can do about it there. 
  Anyhow welcome to the White Council.  Stick around long enough and you'll never play anywhere else again.

UO on Siege is really a very different game than from say Cats or Atl where I played for many years (over 11 before coming here); much more about getting together with others and adventuring or maybe just hanging out deorating your house, crafting or fishing even and chatting in vent or alliance chat than about aquiring uber stuff. And it is surprisingly free of annoying, irritating, chidlish melodrama and immature behavior. When it does appear it is short lived. Have fun.
