Hello all, been awhile im currently taking a short brake from UO but I do know where to turn for tech support or well I hop so anyways :-). But hope you are all doing well :-)

1# Anyone know if a program called sercurity tool is a valid program, it popped up when I click a windows bar warning me about some pop up.
2# If it is not a valid program how the hell do I get rid of it??? I cant delete it in its folder since the damn thing is always active some how!
3# pretty sure its harmful since it wont let me open more or less any program. Even the ctrl+alt+delete it refuses to let me use.

Please help me out if you can :-)

There is gonna be a registry entry for it, that im sure will make sure its re-downloaded, or something else in the startup, that makes sure its downloaded again.

Couple things here. Run Spybot search and destory. Its pretty good. You can also do some online scans to remove virus' and  malware, such as bitdefender, and housecall.

From there, id also go Start -> run -> MSCONFIG. Look on the startup tab, and see whats starting up when windows starts. Anything that doesnt look right, google it. There is gonna be quiet a bit of stuff you can even turn off to help startup speeds. There is gonna be stuff like your virus scan, All kinds of update checks (such as Office, Virus Scan, DVD programs etc). There will also be things like ICQ, MSN, etc etc that will startup with the computer.

So if anything shouldnt be there, uncheck it, and reboot. Then redo the MSCONFIG, and see if its re-activated or not. Then try and remove it again. Lots of times if something is in memory, it wont allow itself to be deleted, or like I said earlier, one proggy with be running, and if on startup it doesnt see the other malware, it will re-download and install it.
It may be short, but it sure is skinny
