how the hell did a cat turn on your faucet?  What are you training these things to do?!?!!?

Alizaren

I think they are training for Wrestlemania. We think they were tussling and slammed into the handle. Apparently, we should either a) have less cats or b) change the faucet so that a cat slamming into it won't turn it on.

We haven't a clue how long the water was on, just apparently a very long time. Mike's uncle tried to get rid of as much as he could (sweeping it out of the house....lol) However, tonight I guess there is still some standing water in our bathroom. The insurance people will be out tomorrow to send an "Emergency Restoration Expert" to try and stave off whatever damage there is, and prevent it from getting worse.

Tiger

Ian you are right, but no point in being in a faction branch with no one to back you up if you cant hold your own against 2-3 peeps, which I for one have a hard time doing against SP and TnT tamers.
Being WCB could mean that I cant cross heal em and they me when we fight together if they are the agressors or I would be, so I will not be joining WCB untill I see a fair share of people doing so (meaning more people than Kael) and actually being abit active in doing so aswell (If I were a stealth ninja who could smoke bomb, it might not be as important but I cant only way I get out is by winning or running, and most I cant out run)... If a WCB is out I will go to him right away and assist him over JSV, but I wont be roaming alone when I can have good allies and the rest of GIL even wont notice a differense.

So if JSV is TB and WCB is TB, they can't cross heal and rez each other? What benefit is there in having folks in the same faction then? (outside the benefit of my enemies having more hostiles to deal with)

I understand your plight Tiger, but a year ago, we were bigger than JSV and they weren't fielding anyone. Only reason we have low numbers in WCB now is that we decided to start up the CRUS thing, which appears to have basically run it's course.  We have several members who left JSV because they didn't like things over there for one reason or another. I can virtually guarantee there will never be another alliance with them.

I guess the question is, if WCB becomes active again, are you going to run with us or JSV? That's what you need to decide, and like I said before, if your'e going to be in GIL then I think you should be in WCB, but that's just my opinion and if you want to be in JSV for factions, then that's your business.

Yes ship you are correct, faction guilds in the same faction cannot cross-heal, res unless they are allied.  Personally I think the devs should fix this. Same faction members should be auto-allied in a way that allows them to be "green" to each other without a formal alliance.

Snake Eyes SP

I've only been on the server for 4 weeks now (I'm TB) and my basic observation is TNT have one faction group for the guild and SP! have one faction group and the "Goodguys" us, have numerous little guilds which is horrible for teamwork and fighting purposes along with communication purposes.I want to join WCB but from what i'm hearing and from my own observation their not active. When SP! fights they use one vent/teamspeak and i'm guessing TNT does too.My personal opinion is the "Goodguys" all have to get on one team and one map and one communication program and fight TNT/SP! until then i fear our hopes for abolishing the evil ones is hopeless. *bows*

Thank You,

Ship it depends on who is the aggressor.

Ian please read my last post again, that states pretty obviosly where my alligense lies. I know some of the stories behind the alliance brake up with JSV and I know there wont be a new alliance and im not asking for one. But when I have the choice between fighting alone and losing and fighting with people who for most parts are a sort of allies I will choose them, even in the "Glory" days of WCB it was rare that we had more than 2-3 people on 2-3 days a row or in a week.
So untill WCB breathes abit again I will be with JSV.

Duke and yes, you are right they use vent and uo-map to follow where people are helps alot! the Nemsis channel used to be the place we would be in vent when we went out to fight, but granted unfortunatly it seemed as Hoffs is the biggest glue in GIL house in total, Cali is it in nemisis house and the group of fighters in GIL.

Disco - although I voted against it, I would join if we had many folks in. My main concern is similar to what Tiger was saying about nobody being on. 90% of the time when I look at the guild list in CRUS, there are no more than three folks on (Lai Mei, Kael, and me) and 60% of the time it is just me and Kael.

All - The problem of isolation has gotten better now that we are allied with WC so my concern with joining TB is being isolated AND running into SL and COM everywhere, when it seems they always run in packs. If we have the people, I think it would be a blast and I'd love to try factions out, if anything to get me one of those superman faction suits only I can wear.

If I join WCB and TB, will I then see JSV and other folks joined to TB in alliance chat similar to how we see folks in Gil, CRUS, CWS, etc.... now?

and the unspoken question I am sure others are thinking... is our main faction proponent Cali coming back?

Ian James

No, WCB is not allied to them and you wouldn't be able to chat with them in alliance chat.

WCB is allied to the White Council and you would be able to chat with us.

Dont' know what's going on with Cali

Ah so what Duke was saying about vent and map would still be a problem, since JSV and other True Brit folks do not use White council resources.

I think factions could be fun but like Tiger and Duke have pointed out, we are probably not going to be as effective as our competition since we are more fractured.
