Just a note on the positive side of things, Coyote Jack was one of the first to visit and welcome me back to Siege. After demonstrating the features of the new Samuri templates, he offered helpful suggestions on updating my own. He also recommended I seek out Gilfane as a potential match for my play style and alignment. He also offered his ICQ in case I had any questions, which I have taken advantage of on a couple of occasions. His motive was clear and stated, that he wants people to return to siege/UO, enjoy it, and stay. I believe this thread was initiated in that spirit in light of this recent exchange, but may have been interpreted as critical.

I understand you guys all probably have deep history and have no wish to get in the middle of that. I just needed to voice this perspective, even if seen through the eyes of a newborn, so to speak. My understanding is that Gilfane values honor and goodness. If Enigma's intent was that of goodness, it may be perceived that payment was that of unkindness. The misunderstanding could be my own as well! Would not be the first time

I should have spoken up sooner but was very reluctant to negatively impact my impression on Gilfane before I even had a chance to meet anyone. Forgive me for keeping silent, when I should have spoken.

Bah!  It's all good Shipwrek.  I heard you were looking for contact info for people to do some hunts and no one was in vent last night.  What time of day do you play normally?  Maybe we can at least get some ICQ's exchanged with the people who are on same time as you.  Or perhaps you might at some point be interested in joining Gilfane.

Environments like this are much better in a guild, more so on SP. I would welcome any opportunity to get to know the folks in Gilfane better and I you to see if I would fit in.

As I mentioned, my template is a bit of a mess but hopefully still useful on a hunt. It would have been a decent archer/mage with 80+ heal long ago but I am probably easy pickings for murders.

I actually don't usually check the gil forums, so, it does happen with me.  I hope that it is not offensive to the other members of the guild, but I do like to spend more time in the game then in forums.
