About the Sunday VvV Events

As you all have seen, this events take hard on me at the moment. Maybe because in most cases, I had been alone vs several groups, who works great together. I had tried to get TDO members to join me with very little success, maybe because they feel like me, lots of dying without any fair chance to fight back.
I now have 508 deaths so someone got some easy kills from being 2-4 on me.
The first 300 counts, I mostly got from fighting 1-2 TDO vs PvP'ers like Dark Star, Feanaro, Diablo, FYUO members. Sure I/we died but it was fair and fun fights.
We also had sundays, where we tried to balance the teams and all including me died but did also get some kills. I enjoyed this sundays.

Not sure what went wrong but this 2 last months had been chaotish and I had died way more and without any chance to get a good fight. It had mainly been ganking. Some may call it team work but to me it did feels as ganking.

This is not an attack on GIL but a message to all the guilds included.

Lets take last sunday, it was really bad. I do believe the 2 GIL VvV'ers did try not to join the large Vice group killing me, but only Nonel, Sargatanza and I believe Namba did care and did not join the kill Freja groups, the rest did not care or did not see, I was not invited in any of the groups.

At last town, I joined up with GIL, but also here I feel it went wrong. I was standing with Sargatanza, he was in the large Vice group, but told me, he would not attack me, I told him the same and he still have a lot to learn about PvP.

Then Boolean came, attacked him, that's all fine. Now I was on same team as Boolean now, but I did not join him killing Sargatanza as I know he could easy do it without my help so there was no reason to make it 2 on 1 and make it very unfair for Sargatanza. Boolean told me, "don't stand still", I took that as he did mean I should had attacked Sargatanza too, but I did not have heart to do that.

I'm not saying anyone did anything wrong, it's just not the way I enjoy playing.

2 sundays ago, at first town, Feanaro and Crunch showed. There was 2 other Archers, but they stealthed off, but that was their choice and do not matter here.
What do matter is is, Chrunch did attack, I can't see in my journal, that Feanaro did attack, I believe he feeled Crunch did not need help to kill me and wanted to give me a fair fight. I respect that.

I could not sleep this night and when I look back at the fights, I had had with HI-5, FYOU and others, they many times have giving me and TDO a fair fight instead of ganking us.

I saw very little of that kind of respect from the sundays VvV groups. Maybe the case is, I don't deserve respect, I don't know but I know, I don't want to be a part of it, you won't see me at the sundays.

I'm still trying to hang out in town, when I can find the time and fight the ones who may show. I have way more fun with small fights. I may still die but at least the fights will be better for me.

I guess we are not much of team players in TDO and we do have a different playstyle. I hope your guys will have more fun at the sundays without me as you won't have to deal with me being out of balance.

Before I finish reading your post you stated: Boolean told me, "don't stand still". That comment was directed at Sargatanza. He pretty must stood still as I attacked and killed him. I know he is still learning PvP and it was a general comment that when you stand you likely die. An archer will not close on you but stand off and keep hitting you.

I did not expect you to join in as I was trying to assess his template and skills. Sorry if you thought that comment was for you. I assure you it was not.

Oh I misunderstood that, that make a lot more sense now, feels better. He was standing still because he had mega trouble with his macro's.
I will still take a break from the Sundays, I believe I need to do that as I'm a little out of balance at the moment. I hope to rejoin after New Year. Right now, I will focus on my guild and try to get a little more members so we are enough to do some PvM hunting.

I hope to see some of you at the other days in town and get some small fights, 1-2 TDO vs a few of you and hope everything feels better in the new year. Don't let the Sundays events die, keep them a live.

The battle field is not the place for soul searching. Step back, tend yer guild and get yer head right. Do something fun. Explore all that stuff you have always put off.

The Shard is headed in a good direction. Not the way you like it. We get that. You can not pull Siege back into the past. You may help steer the direction in the future.

Step back, take a breath and look around. You could also tell me to stfu. *smiles*

I won't tell you stfu Kelmo, I know you do care
From November, I will only work 4 days a week, vs 5 now, I will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday will be my day off, that would give me more energy and less stress.
I hope to be better to keep my vendors stocked. Explore and killing hard PvM spawn is not really me, crafting and some friendly PvP is what keep me playing.

I do know the past are gone, yes I will try help steer the direction in the future. A little more spice do not hurt but I never liked heavy looting and a little Evil RP is a good thing too.

I do miss guilds like the Orcs, Brigands, Undead, Pirates and other RP guilds of the past. I hope the CLAN will make it, but with the item based game we have now, it's not easy for new RP red guilds to make it.

I had some nice fights with Nonel and as he did not like my poison, he choose to steal my bows. It costed me a little to buy them back but making new bows would have been so much more expensive. I had fun and I believe Nonel had too. Thieves and PK's can be fun to play with as long they try to share the fun.

It is less fun when someone set buy back price close to the value of the item and that's not what I want to see more off. 5-10% of the value would work for most I believe. A non PvP'er loosing a Tina Tink Suit to 200k, would then have to pay 10-20k to get it back vs a well suited PvP'er/PvM'er in a 2-5 mill suit would have to pay 100-500k. Sure more expensive but still better than have to pay for new gear.

Still I do not loot, but that's my choice and in many cases it pay off and the favor is returned.

Right now, I just want to see more players and special more visible players to make the shard more alive. I love what Doc is doing with his public hunts and I love when Shard are invited to White Net event or someone make a public Champ Spawn.

I would have loved to see a few VvV alters in Safe Haven, GIL town and other player towns, I really miss the fights at the roads at Safe Haven. The alters should not make players orange unless they get to close to them, when they are active. I believe that could bring some great fights trying to protect your player town.

We also need an upgrade overlands spawn like randum monsters in the forest, orc, lich, brigand spawn, so it again are worth hunting for lesser PvM'ers and there will be resources to get for gatherers/crafters. I miss seeing people in the forest and see reds there like the Blackoak Brigands and the ORCs.

Yes I know what you will say, but this are the direction I want and that's not always what we get.
