        We both have been playing UO fo some time. Sky started out on chesapeake and later Lake superior over 10 years ago, and yes Her name is Sky also, as well as James, oogie boogie (both of them). Ick began playing UO almost 6 years ago at the age of 9, he runs Vilrath on LS, as well as the rest of the House of RATH.

        Disapointed in the level of hacking and cheating on that shard we decided to give SP a chance. Upon our arrival to the shard we were greeted with death, less than 5 minutes after logging in on the streets of Luna. And with the stndard rubbish of you newb, 10 minutes later we weronce again beaten to ashes and sent to the world of Grey view, along witht eh standard "You newb" or you shouldnt be a newb or something. Ok I must exsplain something real quick, on the other shards each and everytime you die , no mater if its one that gets you or 5 you are always called a newb along with other phases that tend to annoy such as PWND, Im LeEt, I rOxEd Ju, oh the hits keep comming. If you kill someone, they will always call you a nasty name (if a spirit speaker you can read it, as well as a recent hack to allow anyone to spirit speak) So over time We have become quite adept at tuning out the rubbish and simply walking away.

    So the next day we venture out and find ourselves in a pickle once more, this time I wait to ask the guy for my stuff back just as hes calling me a Newb....Huh,,, wait a minute, waht did he say..Ok he isnt calling me a newb, whats this He is telling me that I should join NEW. ok Im confussed , what kind iof insult is that? he then resses em and tells me to look for the New guild leader. HA HA very funny, like all newbs should be in the same guild or something. So i head off to Tokuno to gather feathers, did you know cranes are protected species?  While breaking the enviormental wildlife protection act killing some cranes I was approached and asked how long I had been on SP. The he proceeds to ask me why im not in the NEW guild, I ask him is that liek a SP joke or soemthing? He then drops a gate, crap he goes im going to die in the woods, and lose my 400 feathers. We end up at the New guild house, Holly crap is real....

Looking back , I guess those reds were being jerks, ut rather trying to help a newb out and pointing me to the safehaven of NEW.
       I met Shalimar, gotta love her..... She helped Ick and I so much, and made the transition so easy to the shard. and as our time in New was apssing we were noting guilds and ther behavior around us. a couple stood out as honerable and seemed to be more of a  community. GIL being thr main one we noticed. This is the guild we wanted to join.  So thats how we got here, and no telling what may happen next , were just looking forward to meeting the guild folk and having some fun. thanks for letting us Join and Hope to meet you all soon..

i remember seein ick standing around a bunch of fights . theres was considerable speculation on vent .
who is this dude standing here ... can't kill him hes NEW ... why is he watchin our fights ? ... is tryin to loot  ? ...  what is he a spy or something ? ... still he better not interfere ... etc (not that any of us would attack new , but we do speak to shalimar freequently)

glad you chose our alliance . theres some good poeple here . i have alot of respect for the GIL folks .  id probably be GIL myself if AOE hadnt invited me first ... still were allied so its all good . =)

im rather curious how that all went . its prety comon knowledge that KOC will attack news . some of the TnT probably would ... but i havent had a guy in NEW for years so i cant say for sure .  did you get hit by iether of those 2 ? and whats your oppinion of them from your reserch ? also did you find other guilds you considered honerable ? ie, if i hadnt joined GIL i would have ...

 Well the standing around thing was research. on the guild and the fighting style of this shard.
                 Ick was attacked alot more than I when in NEW, one thing Im older more catious. He on the other hand hasnt a care in the world and was fighting anyone who atked him, before all his skills hit 70 he already won a few. He like a pit bull, I have sen him chase down folks with 10 hp and them half bar, and end up finishing them off, He doesnt get flustered and he stays focused..relentless.
                            we tried to stay hidden as much as possible but being new and low skill it was hard to stealth out of the way sometimes and we would reveal.  Sometimes after someone died , ick was accused of looting once I think I assure you he didnt and would not have. The funny thing was he was accused of looting a blue charecture, if that had been the case he would have flagged.
                            we found a couple of Guilds we liked. GIL, were around alot and we meet quite a few of them, along our way. As I read in the post just now, I was taken to the NEW house by a GIL. Saw him again tonight never new he was GIL, didnt mark it down that day. The other guilds we were looking at coincendently are in the alliance so it all worked out.

                 Ok the whole TnT KOC thing, to be perfectly honest I dont care for their attitude or methods. I mean looting a kills one thing but the whole cut your armor and drop it on ground it very childish. andf attacking craftsfolk , wow that takes guts. There style for fighting is calculated and pretty well co-ordinated within the LUNA walkway.(outside not so much, basically run and use CEOmedic)
                 I have decided I will not fight unless attacke inside Luna. That walkway is a choke point, even if you start getting the best of them those not flagged jump into houses, even if they still have same numbers as your group they bail. One of the main reasons we decided to come here was to get away from hackers and cheaters. I certainly would not join a guild that openly uses them.

Oh hey! Didn't Ick have a birthday recently? I seem to remember making a fuss about it and perhaps even a gift of a spellbook I'd acquired from that nice Luna IDOC the other day.

I think that was a fun day if I remember correctly (the past week is a blur!)
