they guys at tugsoft apparently worked late into the night to fix things .

as of 2:15 am central uoa is working again and without me having to modify any registries or other such nonsense . my heartfelt thanks if any of you are reading this.

after reading  some more on u hall , i see that a couple people still had problems . now whether this means they havent worked out the bugs for all platforms or just some guys messed with thier registries like one poster recommended.

in any case it works for me even after repeated shut downs and trying different accounts . uocartographer works altho i couldnt log on to the server . im guessing at this late hour our fine host was off line . ill try again in the morning . but map seems to be tracking my movements thru multiple servers so i dont foresee an issue.

my platform is windows 7 home 64 bit and i never messed with the registries.
