For the record, there are 74 castles on Siege at the moment.

Of those, 34 I can say with certainty are legitimate and paid-for. The other forty I cannot be sure of and a few may well be bugged, with some significantly more suspicious than others.

Yeah, it is a bit surprising. But consider that there are nineteen on Ice alone!

Alot are frejas i think and there used to be alot of borg cubes,   i currently have two of them.  also i think one of the japanese players owns 2 of them

i own 2 of them. both placed about 13 years ago and at that time there were only about 13 castles on the shard and probally 10 times as many people. so whats that tell ya.

I wonder if i bought all the houses in trinny swamp and emailed mesanna if she would just say screw it and build a wall around trinny swamp, remove the spawn and give me a rune to my new city.........
