I need to set up my computer to run the mouse with my left hand. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I am right handed but will be having shoulder surgery on my right shoulder soon. I will likely not be able to do much at all with my right hand for a short while. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to do this before I actualy get the surgery to try and get used to it. Since I will have some time to kill while recouperating, I would like to be able to try to play UO. Thanks.

Easy Breezy

Go to your control panel, and open up the one that says "mouse" then "switch primary and secondary buttons"

Rotator cuff?  I had that done last summer, pretty major tear. It was awkward but I was still able to use a mouse.  Wrist and fingers work fine, you just can't move your arm :)

BTW, that first night was hell. Once those surgery drugs wear off, be ready for some epic pain. Ask for the good drugs and dose up before the surgery stuff wears off. After that first night, it was tolerable.

Thanks. I will try it out left handed.

I tore up the tendonds and bicep muscle last Jan. I was convinced that it would heal up and opted for physical therapy and cotosone injections. While the cortosone seems to give some relief from aching and helps to allow my arm to raise a bit higher, the physical therapy seems to be making it worse. The nice P.T. lady told me to go back and see the surgeon as we were getting no where. I guess I will just have to suck it up and get it fixed.

better to get it fixed sooner than later, I know a guy whose muscles atrophied from waiting too long on the surgery and now his arm is all screwed up.

A morphine pain pump is your friend.  When I had my shoulder done they put one in when I went home.  Also, after a few days using a mouse wasn't that difficult.

I'm kind of a sissy when it comes to surgery.  :'(  I guess I will just suck it up and get it over with.

Talk about a blast from the past.  Good to see you Logan.

just turn the keyboard and mouse around backward.
