i have been watching the pvp fights.. and it makes me rember the pvp roleplay wars i used to be in on great lakes.. they were hella fun, and it realy gaave everyone (even the unskilled) a chance to play and compeat in battle.. and it added a flair to the pvp that made it not so manotinous.. and repetitive as to jus a kill.. or a dryloot.. the rules were pretty simple and it made it very fun for everyone.. varrious guilds represented good vs evil.. or even neutral or vampires/warewolves.. it was great.. and alot of fun.. maybe here it could happen too.. jus for somthing new to do... ???

I always thought that there was always an RP undertone to PvP on Siege even if it is only by guild association. Predominantly red guilds being evil, predominantly blue being "good" and also by that guild's "by laws" of conduct.

I joined Gil because their stated alignment implies that of honor and goodness.

In that spirit, I suspect a Gil member would be in violation of conduct by assuming a role of evil and doing things evil players do.

Come to think of it, when we went on patrol of Safe Haven we did a bit of RP by hunting evil vampires... before we then started having duels and a great friendly old time :)

i guess.. these jus had more story involvement further than "blue" being good.. and "red" being evil.. im not in anyway disrespecting anyones roleplay.. i was jus stating that more story line and such might  make it more exciting to some.. i rember seeing guilds that were blue but were in turn evil.. most of the wars were held in tramel.. so it was ovious that someone couldnt be a red.. their guild of "wante" or the pirates of skara bre was to show of their intent.. it was just somthing for everyone to think about.. we had a great amount of story.. and events further than dueling outside of luna gates.. cirtan factions/guilds held towns and couldnt immediatly return to battle after being killed.. or even speak to live members involved if they were dead.. a group were vampires and you could hide from the other guilds if you were wearing the hooded shroud of shaddows.. due to the fact it covers your face.. making it hard to see who you even were..thus alowing you to ignore rp all together by wearing it if you didnt feel like playing at that time or even as a form of roleplay in itself past "just what you wear".. there were many varriables in the rules.. it was realy fun.. it jus died off becaus alot of people left to play other games.. but anyways.. like i said its jus for people to think about.. maybe someone will come up with an actual red guild that rp's insted if insta kills.. ;D

I didn't mean to suggest blue=good and red=evil, a gross faux pax on SP.  I get your point though and agree, that did inject a very rich environment into Siege.  The Orc clans years ago were really good at it.
