Well good news! Hoff gave me a call on his tele. He just wanted you guys to know his Wi-Fi isn't working where he is atm. He and Caroline have gone deep into back country to get a real feel of the simple life in America.

He rambled on about how things were going. I wasn't able to get it all down so I'll paraphrase.  The roads are terrible. The food is awful and no one understands the term "hot tea" or what a demerit is.

He also sent me a picture of them hanging around some new friends and participating in local activities.



I gotta hand it to him. He really has blended in well with the locals. He sure looks like he's having a good time. I'll have to ask him where he got the hat from.

Yes, Wi Fi connection is very bad. In addition there may not always be enough to write about in a single day and I may not have time to actually write it, so there will not always be a new post.

But...twenty demerits for Char and an additional twenty for missing an apostrophe in the thread title.

And twenty demerits for Razz for misspelling my name plus and additional sixteen million for the insult.
