More script-mining

There is currently a regular script-mining operation running at 1074, 1069 in Malas (N and E of old Gilfane town, SE of the long bridge to Luna). The house there is owned by Thunderlips, whom I have killed on several occasions. There is now a second character called MisterSister doing the same thing. Thunderlips tends to use stealth to move between the house and the mountain, the other does not (yet). If they see another player, both characters will say the word "Cya" and then start walking toward the house.

I have put a rune to the area in the Loot House for anyone that wants to check it (although hopefully bringing attention to them will stop it for a while).

We seem to be getting another influx of new and old players, so I'm not too surprised.  Some of them will undoubtedly assume that what they did on prodo shards is acceptable here.  Some sort of post on the Stratics Siege Board (without naming names) might be in order, just to give the assorted knuckleheads out there the heads up that on Siege, if the regular players find someone scripting, they will be killed.   Hmm.  I suppose I could do that.

If it is not legal to use a script to farm, why not page a GM when you find one?  Then their account could be banned, etc....

You can do that, but nothing is usually done

1st offence is a warning with 1 day in jail. 2nd is ban.so they just start another acount ...more fun to just keep killing em....

script mining what a waste, you can get all the ingots you would ever need by boat mining... mine along the mountainous shoreline, using a small to medium boat. the small and medium boats  allow u close to shore and in the tight spaces....bring a fire beetle on board when you want to smelt the ore into ingots.. i have gotten over 100k ingots in a day plus u get potash or whatever the resource is for making cannon ammunition, no script needed and in a few days you no longer need to mine ore for a LONG time, but killing script miners is also a good source of ingots
