Funny how a distraction can blur into a break and then months have gone by.  I was laid off in November and in wanting to keep my nose to the grindstone and find a new job, resolved to avoid being one of those unshaven gaming junkies playing days upon end in my underwear.

Well, more than 6 months later, well past the "11th hour" when I thought I would be putting my house into storage and relocating my family to a van by the river, amazing things have been happening. Our bills have been met every month and as one of my most beloved hobbies is cooking, we eat like kings since I can buy base ingredients and cook great things from scratch for half the cost. About two years ago I started creating websites for a hobby (I've been in IT doing "internet stuff" since the late 80s.) As a result of the tanked economy, small businesses and entrepreneurs are in need of good, cheap websites they can maintain themselves once they are set up, hence keeping me busy! God is good, and I attribute this perpetual sustenance from his good will. Actually my last boss was a real @!ck and my stress and heartburn has gone down to nothing. It's been great working from home.

My "home" operating environment is in Linux and actually the only reason I ever boot windows is to play UO (since it runs like crap under wine and VirtualBox) so I haven't had much time to play. I need a break in the monotony though and plan to regiment some play time. I miss you guys too and miss the land. I really want to see what this new war is all about as well.

I haven't forgotten about your sapphires either Morgan (accidentally burned some when making some weapons for him with the wrong hammer.)

See you guys soon.

You wear underwear when you play?

Doesn't the underwear interfere when you can't get away from the game and need to pee in a bottle??

Troop

Ship! Good to hear from you. Glad things are working out.
Everything is better when you are wearing purple shoes.

Ship was an asshat :P. Come back and tangle in the war!!! You can forget lifed problems with a Explode-Mindblast-Flame Strike-Fire ball-Fire ball combo.
It may be short, but it sure is skinny

Ooooo I just discovered a cure for my lag by reducing my Windoze screen resolution.  Where's Honeycomb, I want a rematch!
