Fellow Siege Perilous players,

I am deeply sorry to say that Vinny has passed away. Igg and I had been talking to him through October and at that time he had a severe case of pneumonia, but he was still his usual friendly self. Just a few weeks later he died at home with cancer.

Through his characters of Sir Vincent, Singularity, and Event Horizon he played with or against a huge number of groups and guilds on our server. Vinny was a long time member of B^A, as well as SPHS, DRMA, GIL, and a few others. He was quick to laughter and as easy going as a person could be. He loved collecting old bits of Siege history and playing factions and VvV. For years Vinny played with some combination of Igg, Talia, and myself on some crazy weekend adventure or EM event.

He will be missed.

Yeah, not gonna happen.  I did the Beta.  I didn't have any fun.  Stupid quest after quest.  NO

I did the same. But when NL started, I decided to just work through the Ocllo quests and then see how it went. If you choose the Narrative path and get off the island, the quest system will get your skills to 100 in a few days. And then it is killing bosses, taming pets, doing t-maps (no t-map skills required), crafting (much better system), and doing the champ spawns. I felt like I was back in the first few months of playing UO. Who knows if the feeling lasts but it has been a BLAST and that is from someone who HATED Beta.

Come play New Legacy with us. I think there are 13 toons in the guild of Siege players now.

Not messed with these in a long time, but years ago the guild I was in did a Battle Chicken Lizard tournament. We bracketed it out and had prizes for top finishers and participants. It was neat. The issue now is that everyone's stables are always full. Combine that with how there are a lot of seasonal events right now and BCL raising is going to be really low on folks priority list. Maybe could try and organize something in later winter?

Magichands, Blind Otto, and myself joined together this morning to enjoy New Legacy and help each other as we can. Currently we are using my guild name [GOLD] for Grog's Rogues of Gold, my Lake Austin pirate guild for no real reason other than it isn't tied to any Siege Perilous guild. All three of us can add you to the guild, all are welcome to try out the new server with us. So far it has been a blast! Look for us in game or reply to this message and we'll get you added.

Hi Robert,

I had no frost dragons in stables. Tried 4 or 5 Hoard maps but only ones that spawned were Ancient Guardians. If one turns up I'll post here.

I'll try and log on around 3 and see if there is a spare frosty in my stables. I just gave one away so we might have to farm one up. The Frost Dragons are great pets I think. Hope to see you later.

Live with Malloc?! Whoa whoa whoa! I don't know when to use red wine vs white wine so Malloc's may be too upscale for me. Maybe I could just sleep under the seats at the auction house? Might even find some loose change under there.

These past ten years we have often opposed each other under rival banners. At IDOCs, EM events, VvV battles, and even in the pages of Stratics posts you and I have spilled blood. But we have also at times found ourselves united against a common foe, and many of your members have treated me with kindness and honor. I find myself increasingly alone in the land, and this age diminishes. Can those who have spoken the harshest words learn to be silent? Can one who has raised a weapon in anger now offer a song of peace?

I, Calavera, he who first fought you at the UNDEAD Guildhouse IDOC so many years ago and who has hounded your name across the years of an age, I beseech you for admittance into House Vorrak in supplication as one humbled. A man would gladly serve if past enmity could be forgotten in the pages of time.
