Hail and well met, men and women of Gilfane!  My name is Jack - a humble name for a humble man - and I have recently begun to travel through Britannia, seeking to do my small part to leave our land better than I find it.  I am currently completing an apprenticeship with a group of like-minded NEW travelers, but I will be free to travel upon my own as a journeyman in just seventeen more days.  I should very much like to find an organized group of upstanding citizens who share my desire to keep the roads safe by slaying every foul monster that dares to set foot upon them.

I am no bard, but I do have the ability to Discord when necessary.  And although I prefer clear enunciation, I could learn to Mumble if it was asked of me.  My real skills lie in mace and shield (or war axe or hammer pick) and my faith in the Virtues is strong, although I have not yet committed to the role of paladin.  In time, I hope you will come to find my Eastern ways tolerable.

If you would like to visit, you will find my modest house alongside the mountains surrounding Dungeon Covetous, at the point where the road from Safe Haven to Vesper comes closest to the rocks.  I also keep a keen ear for General opportunities to Chat with others.

Incidentally, I have gathered every bit of information I could find about Gilfane and its Houses, all of which are highly recommended by such illustrious persons as Shalimar, Saoirse Kilkenny, and Magical.  I am also acquainted with a recent addition to your band, Dakon Brewster, who began his own sojourn across the land on the very same day that I did.  While premature, I will say that I feel a certain affinity for House Vernia, as the benefits of commerce demand the safe highways and byways to which I am committed.
