Title: Wanting to join GIL
Post by: Tin Man on April 15, 2017, 12:58:05 AM
Hail friends, I have spoken with Razz on joining your guild. He said I should say hello to everyone here and tell a little about my self, so here I am.   My name on Siege in Tin Man, and yes, I love the Wizard of Oz.   I started UO back in the beta days, summer of 97. Tin Man on Atl was my first character I made. I enjoyed those old days best, and siege is the closest they have some to making those old days come back. When Napa Valley opened in Nov of 97, I made Napa my new home, and there I was for 13 yrs. I was very active for 8-9 yrs and then slowly started backing off some. During that time, I played a wide variety of characters. I was in a guild called Guardians of the Undead Lords (GUL), which was a PK guild, with a purpose, if you will. They protected Liches from those who thought to harm them.  They also sponsored fight tournaments, which were a lot of fun. Since GUL I have been in a few other guilds that have offered many things to players. I have always had a crafted, and always named Tin Man, and for those who knew the game back before you could lock skills, it was a pain to get to GM and to keep it. I also enjoy PVP a lot. I have been in all the PVP things that UO has offered, except VvV. As of now, I am old now and enjoy crafting. There are so many things I still need to learn, but that's the joy of the game. Thats is my UO history, in a nut shell, and also, the abridged version.    Please feel free to ask me anything you want to know, and I will gladly answer.  I do use ICQ, so you can get me there as well, my number is  2361136. I am going to install mumble here as soon as I get done with my introduction. Thank you for taking time to read about me and I hope to see all of you in game.

Tin Man

P.S. Right now, my RL work is hectic, so my play time is limited, but I do get on as much as I can.

How long have you been on Siege?

Heh! I played in the closed Bata, and moved to Napa as soon as it opened, too. Small world. Do you remember a guild called Hand of Justice [HoJ] back on Napa? All of our names ended with D'Knock.

Hi and thanks for the post. We already have the Cowardly Lion (aka Razz) with us so you should be right at home. I'll add you to ICQ.

Welcome!
(I thought Razz was the scarecrow, because... *has unexpected coughing fit*)

Oh no, he's definitely the lion. Do you recall the scene in the director's cut where the Wicked Witch of the North is trying to land an explosion/curse/flamestrike combo on the lion but he keeps smoke bombing and stealthing away?

Not to mention all the house-hiding the lion did in the trailers. I concede the point to you.
*puts unicorn brains back in jar*

Keep your purse close. Despite the fact there are no thieves on Siege.
