Over a year ago, I started travelling for work. I gave up my high speed internet connection and then had my computer crash on me. My replacement is a pretty decent laptop, but the laptop, with the internet I get while travelling, does not allow my character to move as freely. Therefore, I have not really played UO much in the last year or so.
Since I can no longer justify paying to play a game I don't actually play, I have decided to let my account expire. I have banked some of my best items as well as all of my soulstones, so that I may return some day, if I so choose.
I would like to take this time to thank the people of Siege, and especially my guild (GIL) and allies, for the fun times I have had here.
Fare thee well, my friends, and may the roads return me to you when my travels have been completed!

I really did not get to meet you since I am so new to GIL. Still I understand and also wish you the best. Back in 2007 I was also faced with a real life issue and we left the game closing our 6 accounts. We did as you did banking all our main items and passing the rest to the guild we were in. Last April we returned, losing only the houses we had back then we were able to start over.
