Title: Semi-absence
Post by: Volundr on April 18, 2014, 03:26:14 PM
My father-in-law is losing a battle with the dreaded Cancer beast. Will be on sporadically. Need to take care of the wife and my reoccurring hangovers. I am not fading away from Siege...just taking care of some shit.

Thanks, all of you. It isn't nearly so bad for me as the wife. The worst part is not being able to do much to help her. I can only be there for support and offer a shoulder to cry on. On the other hand....I think she is getting a little sick of me being around so much, so I might see you in-game a bit more.  :D

So, my father-in-law passed away yesterday. He is no longer suffering. I am not sure if I will be making it to the funeral (it is in Connecticut, USA) as there are many issues. One being the rules concerning my unemployment benefits and I am out of holiday time. If, however, I do manage to go, then I may be away for a week or so. The wife is doing ok. She and I spent most of the day mourning and she seems to be much stronger. For her it is a relief that it is over and that she can move on. Thanks again to everyone for your words and understanding.
