ok i have a solution to the addons that show up as barrels when axed . you unlock the item first then axe it . it goes back to deed form .
this info came from captain america no less. we were discussing it in general chat how it might look like a scam if you'd try to sell it . he came back and told me that and i tried it on an arcane bookshelf that had been in barrel form . its now a deed. =)
edit = if your really want something in barrel form it still does that if you dont unlock it first . i tried redoing that experiment in reverse. confirmed . the bookshelf went back to barrel form. as of now, it works both ways.
Did you try that with something in the bookshelf? If there was something in there, where did it go?
Aye, because that's the reason they created the barrels.
ok , arcane bookshelf part 2 :
i put a healing wand in the bookshelf and axed it . it went to barrel form (1 item) . when i replaced the bookshelf the wand was in it. i was able to remove the wand.
i put the wand back in it , released it and axed it . the wand fell to the floor where the shelf had been . the shelf went to deed form . i picked up the wand and replaced the shelf again and the shelf was empty .
i axed it one final time without the wand in it and it went back to barrel form , this time reading no items. again i think ill leave it in barrel form in case they change something .
I have heard the barrels can be dyed?
What about fountains of life do they go to barrel form?
