My Miranda had only 10,000 plain boards on a deed in her bank, when I thought I was leaving.
I have other board types too, but only had 10k of plain wood left deeded up.
Since I put up that tiny lil Myth Mini Mart house next door to the Memorial, few days ago, *unadvertised*
natch I put some carpentry items on a few of the vendors.
Ummmmmmmmmm...go figure, 10k of plain wood boards are now totally gone, I even hit trees yesterday
just to restock again, the many items that sold out, but I still need lots more lumber of plain wood.
Anyone sellin plain boards at some reasonable prices ?

I have a mailbox on the right porch, too, at the Memorial house.

I am seriously rethinking to put the few vendors I do have, AT the memorial house.
On the one hand seems kinda tacky to put vendors at a Memorial House,
yet on the other hand, seems even sillier to hold a tiny chicken coop
of a house next door, and pay for that 4th acct. to remain active too,
just to have a few vendors up. Just seems simpler if I slap all my stuff in one house,
even if one is supposed to be a Memorial house. *dunno sigh*
A Memorial House should still be an 'alive' house. I think putting vendors there would be fine - and it will draw people to the house. That is a good way to show people that the house is there, and stands as a memorial. IMHO.
If you´re having that 4th account open ONLY for the vendors then I say put them at the Memorial house.
You could spread the vendors out in the house as if they lived/belonged to the house and not just put them in a row somewhere. That way it wouldn´t feel that much out of place...

I read your posts early this morning and began moving my few vendors, into the Memorial house
shortly after I logged in my chrs.
I also asked some other folks non allied etc. and they seemed to think the same way, a Memorial house in and of itself is fine, and especially the first year or two after he rl passed away. But now we are quite a few years later, and if he WERE here would he want it to be a sort of tomb of nothingness or have some kinda LIFE in there, I think most of us can concur, he would want something a bit more ALIVE, in there now.
For someone like him, that once ran the largest and voted #1 vendor house on Siege once, when we had the huge MYTHIC TREASURES and guild hall behind where memorial was, and yeh fiesty as he could be, if he too were here today he probably say what kelmo too had said to me, when he transferred it over to me:
Make it your own, make it alive again.
But I have struggled with what all to DO with it, leave it as is, or was, update it a bit in house tiles, treat it like a *church* with reverance or something ? It's been difficult, and I feel all kinds of responsible for that building, yet, then too, where do my chrs. LIVE life ?

This way I can combine it all, for better or worse, hopefully not worse, also just makes more sense to USE the house too.

Anyhow, been tuckin in the few lil vendors inside here and there
and the
vendor with bandages on it,
down by the ankh on the right front porch.
Tis siege afterall, someone may die touring, so I put up the ankh to res the dead. :)
Seemed a good spot to toss up the bandages apples vendor by the res'ing ankh ! :)
When you´re done, take a pic and post about it in the "Where to shop..." sticky on the Siege forum.
That way you will promote your "shop" and make people aware about the Memorial house...

You should try Gravewater Lake....best spot in umbra for fishing

Heh, 6 years in UO and it haven´t even occured to me to try my boat in that lake... :P
pretty sure boat doesnt work there, have to fish from the shore.
Yeh ya can't put a ship in Gravewater Lake.
I never tried a lil rowboat though but chances are those won't work on Gravewater Lake either.
But Gravewater Lake is I think the only place ya can fish up, Holy Mackrel. :)
