Title: Account Managment
Post by: Hoffs on December 12, 2011, 03:31:41 PM
I've been trying to reactivate an account on EA for a few days, but every time I try to finalize the payment all I get is:

"There was an error processing your request!"

Very helpful indeed. I get the same error using either of my credit cards. Any ideas what solution there is to this, if any?

I had to get rid of all my credit card info and start over (but i can not remember how i deleted the information!)

I know how frustrating it can be to call them, but you might still try that.  Sometimes that works like a breeze.

calling them might be a good solution would there be a working service line in europa, well i don't know if there is one in GB but there is none in Austria.

Im having a rotating issue now where everytime my accounts are due for payment two of them get deactivated.   they are set to renew two accounts week 1 and two accounts week 2    but when week 1 hits they deactivate my week 2 accounts. so basicaly i loose a week of play on two accounts.  i havent bothered calling bout this cause im just gunna continue to buy gametime with in game gold instead. im tired of giving EA my money.

Am also getting the 'error' message on a newly acquired account.  Am waiting now on an e-mail concerning the issue.  Hopefully something will happen with it this week.

Yep, it's a total joke, like everything they do. Getting the same error on another account I've tried to reactivate. I would try deleting the CC info and adding it anew, but don't know how to do that. No way I will be calling anyone about this, especially not if it is to the US. I may email them but there doesn't seem to be any link available for email support. What a truckload of shite that company really is. It beggars belief.

I'm speechless. And those of you who know me, know how rare that is.

Looked for them on the UO site, but apparently they are having a problem with those as well?  What is the name or title of the cards you get, and do you get them on-line?  Thanks
