Hitching post I guess it's called that enables you to stable and claim your pet in your house. Thanks

Once you get one, I've got a tip for you - they come with 30 or 45 charges, something like that.  It wouldn't take long to use up those charges and then it's a real pain to recharge the things.  BUT it does *not* use a charge to stable a pet - only to get one out of the stable.  So that's the way I use mine - I go to the stable to get my pets, but then when it's time to put them back in the stable I use my home hitching post, which still has 30 charges on it.  It's not quite as convenient, but it doesn't use any charges and it's really nice to just "go home" at the end of the evening and stable my pet(s) from home.  (For me, this usually means my fire beetle.)

Oh, and they are still available through the UO Game Codes Store, for $7.25.

Finally, you *could* use a pet ball to summon your pet from the stable, if you don't mind burning the charges on your pet ball.  At least it's easier to recharge than the post.  But that would give you a way to get the pet and then use the post to put it back in the stable.

Is killing that um... "fire bunny" needed to re-charge them? Or is that just to make one?
