I was called in for jury duty a few years ago. Take a "good book" with you and read it. I took "Somebodys Gotta Say It" by Neal Boortz. One of the lawyers as what I was reading and told him. I didnt get picked. Right now I am reading "Culture of Corruption" by Michelle Malkin, very interesting.
lol..man my opinion on things is so messed up anyways..and when im bord i randomy fall asleep..as for reading..um..i shoukda thought bout that... :D

;D I served on a jury once and I must admit I enjoyed playing a part of the justice system. I was'nt the foreman it was a civil case. The trial lasted 2 days alot of people downplay the whole jury thing. Heck I have guns and I luv to shoot things in game and in rl. Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in I had a good experience and if asked again I would like to. I think being on a grand jury would be neat even thou it usually lasts a several weeks to months. The pay was'nt bad either i just gave the check to my employer and got paid my normal amt plus OT. ;D

I just hate getting called every 18 months like clockwork. Then, I go down there, sit all dang day waiting for them to call me to a courtroom, only to go sit there in the courtroom till they finally get to me. Takes them about three sentences till we get to the "what do you do and where do you work?" part before they go, "thank you, you may be excused".
This last time though, was easy, I just rescheduled it (because I was summoned on my birthday and I was going to Seattle that day). When my reschedule date came up, I was like one of the last jury pools and they excused the last half of the pools. I didn't even have to show up at court. Sweet!
You need to make friends with the clerk. . . my husband hasn't done jury duty in years.
