Title: Sid the Kid
Post by: Sid the Kid on December 09, 2007, 05:54:12 PM
Hail Gilfane

I am new to SP and am looking for a guild. I have been playing UO for about 9 years and have characters on many shards. From reading Gilfane's web page I beleive this guild looks well put togther and like something I would be apart of. I dont play as much as I used to but still average at least one day on the weekend and a few nights a week. I am still undecided what skills to pursue on this shard so I will probably start by Lumberjacking to raise some gold selling logs then work into maybe archer or tamer still undecided. I dont use icq but my email is listed in the profile. I look forward to meeting the members of Gilfane if you will have me.

Greetings Sid,

Thanks for your interest and comments. All those who are prepared to follow the path of virtue are welcome. The only problem, as you have no ICQ, is arranging a time to meet with you. However, if you would care to nominate a time and place, I am sure that we can manage it. Personally, I can make virtually any time on Monday.

Regards,

Hoffs

I shall have to meet you some other time I fear. I have been in Luna for 90 minutes but the hour is now very late for me and I must take some rest. I have sent a PM.

I am really sorry My wife had other plans for me last night and I got railroaded into decorating the house for christmass. By the time I got on it was really late my time. Once again sorry for wasting your time. I will work on getting ICQ to make things easier

With Siege bless item menu you can bless one item. There is no insurance on this shard :)

Select 'Siege Bless' and then click on an item (not a container) on your paperdoll or in your backpack. The item will now be Siege blessed and cannot be looted. It will remain so until either you remove the item from your body/backpack, or you use Siege Bless on something else.

Ahhh  Dellucia.

Great memories there building tame.

Boredom was always upon me until Whyrm would pop out with his pets and pk and dry loot me.

That's when I knew I came to the right place.

theres a better way to Del.

Theres a passage out the west side.

I think it's in the Gilfane rune book.

Any idea on the salvage bag

I think the salvage bag is meant to recycle items for crafters.

I am unsure on this question.

Ahh! I had forgotten about the salvage bag. I've been meaning to pick one up and try one out. Supposedly, a crafter can place a bunch of items in it and recycle them all at once. So, instead of smelting 32 scimitars one at a time (click-click-click-click-carpal tunnel-click-click) you can just do it all in one shot. I think it's supposed to work with leather too maybe, but I haven't really checked into it. Hmm...I will need to investigate further.

But in the main, I think that is what they are about.

I wonder if it has to be a crafted item If it didnt you could recycle usless stuff you found on monsters and get ingots that would be handy

It will work with the loot from monsters. Or it should^^  How I built my first smith on Napa.

really i have never seen them on any other shard

+uoassist does the same thing with anybag.

Yes, I am sure UOA does the same thing. But for those of us that are UOA challenged and only use it so that our map tracks correctly, the salvage bag is a good option. And yes, you can use it for items you get off monsters. We did a T-hunt the other night and I went back and recycled all the junk they left behind to reclaim ingots.

Just an up date My barding abilities are coming along nicely I need to switch from what ive been barding to polar bears I was wondering if anyone had a house near an area witht the polar bears i could use as a base really just need to be friended so i can log out dont need any space just like I said the ability to log out. main reason for this is I havent rasied magery yet and have no money for recall scrolls so that leaves me to making long walks.

I am afraid I have no place on Ice island, neither am I even friended to anywhere there.

I did a search on were polar bears are and went to the place near luna there wernt enuf there bears there to make it worth my trip. the other places besides dagger island are to dangerous I imagine there are runes to dagger island in the guild rune lybrary which would be great but I can not find any recall scrolls if anyone wants to sell me some i did get the funds to buy them

Don't bother with Recall Scrolls, they do not work on Siege...Gates Only

If you can get your magery up to 30.0 I can give you a +15 bracelet and more gate scrolls than you will ever need.

Talk to Aeowyn, she has a keep there. That's where I stayed while I trained tame. You'll fine her alot at luna bank.
